FLUID LINE FIXTURE

CHALLENGE: An automotive supplier needed a way to securely hold complex formed fluid lines while mounting brackets were bent into place around the lines at precise angular orientations.

SOLUTION: A precise locating fixture was custom-designed using the 3D CAD data of the formed fluid lines. Manual clamps hold the lines securely.
When the operator hits a button, pneumatically actuated slides extend to form the brackets around the lines.
